This movie is about a couple, who starts out loving each other unconditionally to slowly drifting apart in a 5 year period. Which is realistic in today’s standards.

The cute thing was they liked the same things, book, plays, movies, even had some matching clothes and met by chance.

The girls parents were very corpo strong, and wanted her to be like that which she didn’t, and she personally never changed from start to finish.

The guy however, even though had the same interests as the girl, slowly changed his ways, stopped reading new issues of the books they liked or magazines, and also got a job being a corpo kind of like her parents which she disliked, and I think the job was what affected them most, he worked a lot and didn’t have time for their stuff anymore and didn’t want to do anything intimate.

Near the end of the movie they have a talk at “their spot” as they are slowly trying to talk it out, they see a young couple who were like them come in and watched them for a bit, they ended up crying because of how similar they were to them. They broke up, but lived together for another 3 months after the breakup and then went their own ways, happily,

This is a sad film but it is also a film that has a complete story from year 1 to year 5. And even current day. Which wrapped the film up very well.
