Literally so good, I love the story so much and the actors are phenomenal. I think personally I really enjoyed it because I watched it with my best friends and her family so the movie has a personal connection to it. Overall a very good movie and super cool concept. Def recommend

Mad Max on water. The production for this is genuinely phenomenal. I could tell the budget went dangerously overboard from the first 10 minutes alone. Thankfully, the money is more than evident in the sheer scale and quality of practicality. Even if one of the most expensive films of all time makes only a measly 8 million in profit, it's good to know the production team was all hands on deck, aside from some of the CGI work. Unfortunately, the storytelling is where it gets messy. That said, the characters were brilliant, although with a forgettable villain, and the casting was great. Costner gave off a strong Bruce Willis vibe here. I feel I'm being too kind with my rating, but I did enjoy it.

6/10 The ideal and concept is good, if the smokers were taken out (too much back and forth) this would be a better and shorter film. Enjoyed the cast (minus the smokers).

I really liked it. The sets, the over-the-top fantasy elements, and how dystopian it was. It had a very 90s feel to it that I enjoyed.

Very fun movie with great ideas and good characters. It’s like if dune was done right.
Yes it’s a bit cheesy and cliche, but it works—it’s not trying to take itself too seriously.
The little girl was adorable and a tough cookie
Bad guy had great one liners
And the action was 👍

The idea of a drifting, water-ruled dystopia stands apart from nearly every other post-apocalyptic film. It feels like Mad Max reimagined through oceans instead of deserts. There are memorable visuals and ideas, though character development rarely reaches.
