Blue pee pee and rorsack

At first it was looking like it was a satirical take on superhero films, then i realized no, its an actual superhero film. And if im being completely honest, I'm tired of superhero films. This didnt add any more new content than any Marvel film has ever added.

It was a pretty great adaptation stylistically & scene-by-scene wise, but the changes Snyder made to the story make me wonder if he really understood what the comic was trying to say. (I’m specifically talking about the monster being purposeful, nite owl’s story, & the ending)

If only this was a show or 2 parter. People like Zack Synder are so well-liked by me because they make movies you expect but are so unexpected. The comicness is just perfect, I could picture every shot and piece of dialogue as a stereotypical, gritty, dirty, and deep comic. This movie is iconic in the way it brings together so many genres and ideas and blends them into something brand new. You can see the inspiration it both uses and releases. The visuals and score blew me away, the story sucked me in, and the characters incinerated me. It just needed a different build.

Holy hell is it well done with a great story and everything, only wish it was shorter coz then I'd maybe be willing to watch it again

Just read the comic book. The movie is pretty entertaining but Zack Snyder definitely misunderstood parts of that comic when making this film. 5.5/10

This movie is good upon first viewing, but progressively worse with each subsequent viewing. Snyder cares nothing for plot or character, only flashy things that go bang bang. Would have been better if Nolan was the director.

Think I need to give this another watch, didn’t fully understand it or maybe missed something the first time

Wow I did NOT sign up for super c*ck - Les’s Journal. Very interesting twist. This movie took me so long to finished would throw it on and off. Different take on hero’s and a mystery on who did it. 6.5/10.
