7/10 Cute throwback movie with a cool idea

It was ok. the beginning and middle were great but the ending just felt pointless and there wasn't a whole lot of payoff. I was really into it until then. 6.9/10

Watched it because of Ready Player One (Book)
It's not a bad movie, it's also really actual as a theme even if it's an "old" movie, tho I had higher expectations
Also, got a bit annoying during the last hour.

Edit: on second thought, this is pretty stupid. It is not you who decides if you need to play the game, it’s the other guy. Had the Soviets not developed bombs, we would have certainly used them on them or at least threatened it.

This was surprisingly good. Like all 80s movies it does drag a little but the premise was fun and the characters were fun and I was stressed by the nuclear codes

Honestly loved it was on the edge of my seat—also gave just like me fr vibes very enjoyable watch
