I couldn’t take this movie seriously after seeing Scary Movie 4 countless times growing up. My dad is responsible for putting me on “A Haunted House” and the Scary Movie franchise and I can’t thank him enough. I loved all five with all my heart and have yet to see some of the originals. I’m grateful for watching these movies as a nieve, rambunctious boy because of the rewatch value. As I grow older and watch more notable movies, I learn and understand references I didn’t before. This includes the parody movies mentioned prior and others like it. E.x. “Superhero Movie” & “Airplan!”
