Yep banged out all three today. Worth it. Dawn was the best but War is unbelievable as well. Caesar may be the best character arc is cinema. Probably gonna go sit in a movie theater tomorrow by myself to see Kingdom. Goodnight.

9.1 - If this was meant to be the finale to the reboot trilogy, Reeves nailed it. Probably amongst the all time great trilogies. Serkis dominates again & Harrelson owns his criminally low screen time. Starts a bit slow but the ending packs an emotional punch. Hail Caesar.

OMG how have I been sleeping on these movies for so long!?!? This trilogy is fantastic, probably one of the best! And Andy Serkis is amazing. I think this one was my favorite so far and I think it’s the best one (based off of first watch)

Such a sad and beautiful ending. RIP Caesar. Such an amazing franchise. How many franchises have all perfect films? Only other one I can think of is John Wick. I guess once the fourth one comes out next year, we are gonna follow his son or Maurice. Bad Ape was hilarious too.

Best movie in the series. The cinematography is amazing.

First of all, I’ll never get over the apes riding horses. The first 30 minutes set the tone for how this was going to be. Heartbreaking and heavyyy. Some of these scenes were truly devastating. The CGI is actually so good, it’s insane?! Cinematography as a whole is gorgeous, I love the way they film these movies. Bad ape and Nova were so cute. And donkeys final moment protecting Caesar…..please🤧 Maurice is still my fave supporting ape. Moral of the story is humans suck‼️‼️ Long live king Caesar and everything he did for ape. I love him so much and this ending made me so sad. This trilogy is honestly so underrated

wow what a spectacle, the best film in the franchise most def. the cinematography, the writing, & world building is incredible. the saddest of them all, it hits like a truck. king caesar forever. apes together strong. 9.5 / 10

Wow, what an ending to an absolutely amazing trilogy. I really appreciate the range of emotions this movie evoked out of me. Caesar is one of my favorite characters of all time and I’ve got to give credit to Andy Serkis for his incredible performance. Caesar is king

12/14/23 Rewatch: Maurice is my best pal.  Everything at the military camp onwards is great.  Caesar CONTINUES to be interesting - he makes a decision here that he quickly sees ramifications for.  The comparisons to Koba are particularly intriguing.  I do like the subplot with the little girl.  Some very nice visuals in this one.

one of the most UNDERRATED unworldy trilogys of all time. I really hope the next one doesn't ruin it.
