Trying to fit in everything from the book without actually trying to make a good movie. No time for character emotion/relationships to develop. Horrible acting. Cringing so hard I couldn’t finish it.

Fonda and Hepburn and just too watchable to dislike this movie. Yes, it’s a sweeping melodrama that takes too long, but I could want them now a lawn and be enthralled doing it. Great production value.

Omg, more than 3h of movie. If you are really interested in this story or maybe you are looking for an adaptation, I recommend you the BBC series with Lily James, Paul Dano and James Norton. Is more comfortable to watch but, yes for sure, this is also a good option
