Kinda boring

Waltzing with Brando was a wonderful exploration into who this man was, and what he believed in. It’s also a story about learning to let yourself go to discover more about who you are about what you might be capable of. This film also brings awareness to an issue that needs to be taken seriously while also helping to raise money for that cause. I’m not sure if it will be nominated for or win any academy awards, but I will say that actor Billy Zane delivers one of those rare performances that you sometimes see were an actor so dedicated to a project channels the very person they’re trying to become. I wasn’t watching Billy Zane playing the character of Marlon Brando, Billy Zane became Marlon Brando for this role. Most importantly, I think this film helps to pull the curtain back on a man who was from what I understand mostly misunderstood in his time on this planet. I’ve heard and read Marlon Brando described as eccentric—which he was—but he was also deeply passionate about the things that he believed in, as well as just how extremely gifted he was at his craft and the exploration of that in this film is worth the price of a ticket to see this movie. 👍🏻 7/10
