Unbelievable acting by phoenix and Witherspoon… only thing about the flick is I honestly think it could be a bit longer for a more cohesive storyline with all the time skips and implications but it is still excellent the way it is other than that so good and great music too🚬 🪕🔥

I don’t even know where to begin, this movie brings me so much joy and sadness in one I loved how they took their time in showing how hard his life had become in some points and how in the end he was able to make amends and grow as a person and be better for his family 10/10 movi

A totally captivating love story with exceptional music that gives you a well-rounded glimpse into Johnny Cash’s life. Worth checking out just for Reese Witherspoon’s performance. I could watch her and Joaquin sing all day.

I wouldn’t consider myself a Johnny Cash fan, but I have listened to some of his songs, especially the cover albums from his later years. I never imagined that he lived such a complicated life filled with struggles, excess, and toxic relationships. Joaquin Phoenix did an incredible job portraying Johnny Cash and capturing both his talent and his personal struggles.

His life wasn’t very interesting. Lots of infidelity. Phoenix was good in it

Good but better biopics

This movie meant everything to me seeing it in the theater. I became an even bigger fan which I didn’t think was possible.

it wasn’t bad but i do feel like it only portrayed his bad side. as long as the movie is, it was slow paced in ways and i felt like more could’ve been shown from his life.
i like his music though.

one of my favorites films ever! i’m a johnny cash fan but joaquin phoenix’s version of his songs from this soundtrack are all i listen to now. reese witherspoon’s oscar acceptance speech makes me cry every time, the best rendition of johnny & june ever. almost made my top 4

Beautiful piece of art, you get a good feeling for the ups and downs of Johnny Cash’s life. I love how they worked with his music. I was catched from the first moment. 10/10 would watch it again

Why did this feel like 4 hours of Joaquin Phoenix just being an ass once again… like am I supposed to be supportive of this??😭
