As a cis man, I acknowledge there are things about this topic that I will not understand or be able to relate to. As such, take this review with a grain of salt.

I think this has the bones of a good movie but fell apart for me for a few reasons. The writing didn’t feel clear enough to support the main character’s decisions and ultimate actions. And the timeline jumps felt very confusing and hard to follow. With a better setup and ending, this could have felt much more impactful.

That being said, Sims-Fewer gave one hell of a compelling performance that was very visceral to witness.

The visuals and the story are more ridiculous than creative. They tried way too hard to be “shocking” by showing graphic nudity. Unfortunately for them, no amount of banana can save this burning circus. Would fail college film classes
