This movie is not for everyone. But I loved it. A sophisticated dark comedy, character-driven, thought provoking.

The marketing for the film was bad. It promises a thriller which this is not. It’s a think piece, and a great one.

the only red flag for this movie is that john mayer’s in it

that was actually really good and better than I anticipated.

Nice story, fantastic cinematography

Come on wtf was that? Deluded, egotistical, detective podcast guy bs. I wish I never watched it. Boyd Holbrook was barely a saving grace. What vengeance? That death at the end had 0 payoff.

I didn’t care about the characters or the story. Or even the mystery

This movie really surprised me. All the characters were enjoyable and unique, the setting and story were amazing. Most movies downfall is how to properly end it, I believe this movie did it just right. This is what you get from a producer of the office, peak.

A different movie with an interesting plot and keeps you engaged the full movie. I recommend and love my man Ryan 7.5/10

Surprisingly deep! Good movie

Felt like a movie about a narcissist

This movie surprised me with a genuine outlook interested in modern day themes for writers today. The humor is very cheeky with laugh out loud jokes that can come out of nowhere. The protagonist isn’t very well rounded out however which makes a conflict near the end feel hollow.

Other than seeing the “Whataburger” clip (and loving it) I knew nothing about this film. I had heard from others that it was good, but I was not prepared for how good it was! I knew B.J Novak was a good writer from his work on The Office, I just didn’t know how good he would be!

Bloody load of rubbish

This movie is a wildcard. I believe you'll either love it or think it's absolute garbage. The humor is a very specific flavor that only BJ Novak can bring to screen... and if you like him you'll love this movie. It's got enough twists to keep you on your toes guessing what's next
