Could’ve been so much shorter…a bit unnecessary

Good but how tf did she die at the end there was no blood or anything just boom she’s dead

Don’t know why people say it’s a bad film. I liked it, maybe it’s nostalgia for me 🤣

It's so bad it's already good. There are a lot of things messed up with this film but Hugh Jackman and Richard Roxburgh make it all worth it. That Vlad Dracula was spectacular in his ridiculous glory.

Hugh Jackman stars as the sexiest Van Helsing to ever hit the screen. If you're prepared to overlook the canon-messing, plus the odd bit of crap dialogue or dodgy CGI, then Van Helsing is surprisingly enjoyable, with several impressive action set pieces.

Ok the wives were pretty peak

this movie was really good. but the universe it was meant to set up should have gone through. just a collaboration of all the classic horror characters rolled into one movie.

The only things I liked about it was Dracula and the mirror scene

A rewatch of note after years, I wish I could smack younger me upside the head for dismissing this film😂The intricacies & fun of this film are only capitalised on by its lore. An honest 8/10, with one of, if not the best werewolf transformations of cinema (topped only by ❤️💀🤖 imo)

Seeing if this monster mashup is as wild as everyone says for World Dracula Day. I wanted a fun hunt, but the non-stop, messy CGI honestly left me exhausted.

What Worked:
• Jackman brings a rugged, James Bond vibe I really appreciate.
• Silvestri’s bombastic score is top-tier and gives an epic rhythm.
• Roxburgh’s campy Dracula brings a fun aristocrat energy that totally works.

The Friction:
• I prefer grounded stories, so the constant rubbery CGI pulled me out of the stakes.
• Juggling too many legendary monsters made it feel super bloated to me.
• The romance felt forced. I honestly just didn’t feel any chemistry.

Verdict:
Watch for a mindless action flick. Skip if you hate 2000s CGI overload.

I know what people might say but this is my favorite “nostalgic” movie and noone can change that😂
Not only the variety of monsters but specifically the vampires was my total favorite part.
I could talk a lot about this movie besides the cast, I just loved the story.

this is one of my favorite movies of alllllll time. the brides are beautiful and van helsing is the coolest mf ever. don't get me started on draculaaaa. this is a comforting childhood movie & i love it endlessly. yes it's corny but idc i can watch it a million times.
