That was way more fucked up than i thought it was gonna be😭 visually beautiful tho like the dreamy vibe and shiiit

this movie is so visually appetizing, it’s like eating a decadent cake with your eyes. the story is so surreal and bizarre; kind of like alice in wonderland with more sex, vampires, and semi-incest. wild! love!

It’s ok to be confusing with a purpose, it’s another thing to just be confusing for the sake of it, this feels like individual scenes sticked together to make something, at least for the first half, second half is still confusing but ok… do your thing I guess 4.6/10

This was so beautiful I really loved the dreamlike vibes we get from this movie, to me this a good represent of girlhood. I don’t think it was confusing to see it has a clear storyline just seen from the eyes of a little girl who is confused. Really beautiful

I didn’t even really watch all of it because it was boring and a bit disturbing to me. It makes vintage tiktok sounds and edits, but the movie itself is confusing. I most likely won’t watch again.

I can’t resist a surrealist film and a surrealist gothic fairytale? Do I fully understand what I just watched? No. I do understand the themes of adolescence, innocence, religion etc…I enjoyed the film but I don’t feel as though I’d need to watch it again. It’s shot beautifully and the styling is impeccable. Glad I saw it at least once.

why no one talks about the fact that actress is 13 yo and we can see her naked every 2 minutes (don't take me wrong, there is nothing bad with plot or concept of a book, but seeing tits of a GIRL in film that everyone talks about is just sick)

what? also like i like the cottagecore style in the beginning and the softness of it all but the plot is so confusing

i stumbled upon an edit of this movie and decided to watch it because it looked so visually pleasing, but i ended up confused and kinda disturbed, but liked it nonetheless. the video essay by “Final Girl Studios” on YT does a great job explaining everything. me likey

interesting.. it was kinda like a more twisted version of alice in wonderland. soundtrack was quirky and filming style was nice. some scenes could be deemed controversial but i overall enjoyed it for the “artsy” filming style
