First actual film for my film narrative class.

This film does exactly what it needs to do. The color grading is dull for a purpose. It honestly made me feel disgusting throughout watching this whole film, but that’s the point. You can tell the director is really shooting for realism. This movie doesn’t romanticize the idea of nomads, however, shines light on the downs one faces in this way of living.

I liked the documentary and non-linear style of story telling. Any piece of the movie you could move around and it’d still make sense. That’s very impressive to me.

The score was kind of stressful to listen to, but it was put in scenes where our main character Mona didn’t know where she’d end up next. Well thought out.

This movie made me feel disgusting, and I’m glad it’s over. I won’t watch this movie again, however, I’m glad i saw it.

My first Agnes Varda film. Definitely will not be the last.

Super interesting character study. You get to know this girl over the length of the film, but you’re also watching her die. Kinda a weird feeling ngl.
There were definitely parts where I got super bored, but that’s more an attention span issue on my part lol it’s a good movie
