some scenes were really drawn out and the pacing was pretty off for me
basically just remade the manga scenes but a million times worse because it was live action with… questionable cgi
it was fun to watch tho ig because it reminded me of how much i love the manga

Cannot comment on how true this is to the source material. With that said, this is a fun, little horror flick that is neither very scary nor is it very gory. This film, however, has plenty of campy charm and doesn’t overstay its welcome at a tight 90 minute run. Worth a watch.

i would put love if they included the manga ending in the movie… the manga is definitely wayyyyy better the panels are a lot more disturbing than the movie scenes. they did the best they could in 2000 but i feel like they could’ve followed the manga better. great watch tho

This movie is currently streaming for “free” on Amazon Prime and I couldn’t recommend it more! It’s pretty disturbing and creepy with great practical and solid C. G. I. effects. The ending stayed with me for a while.
