7/10 I like the first one more pacing wise, however the animation and jokes were goated with the sauce.

Bowser made the movie. As always Peach was a baddie. Everything else kinda sucked. The pacing was everywhere.

The people at the movie however 10/10

If I’m comparing it every other movie it’s good. But I was expecting so much moreee. This movie was all over the place and Mario doesn’t do ANYTHING 90% of the movie. Why does Peach feel like the main character? Visuals were cool but just super empty plot

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is a fun, visually polished sequel that understands what fans love about this universe. At the same time, the story does not always match the ambition of the setting.

It’s a really disturbing movie. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. It’s worst than you could imagine

Hehehe. Idc what anyone has to say I loved this movie 😭😭. I liked the fact they didn't disregard bowsers character development then scrapped it. Bc let's be honest. He will forever have grudge against Mario that's the whole point of the game franchise. People were talking about a smashbros movie but idk how it'll work. The references were top tier but I don't know how they'd make it work icl but I like the idea of like multiple movies based off Nintendo games. I wanna see donkey Kong movie. Also I kept thinking where's daisy where's daisy. SHES COMING IP NEXT I GOT WHAT I WANTED. and PEACH AND ROSALINA ARE SISTERS ngl a satisfying way to link rosalina to the whole thing. Hehehe I loved the movie. I also really like how peach isn't helpless in the movies, she's a brilliant female representation for kids today. IMO imo don't kill me yall. THE SISTERS GOT MOTION THO COS WHY WERE THEY BOTH DLAYING LITERALLY rosalina made the robot look like it was nothing at the beginning of the movie. Struggled with how to rate this. Honestly, I’m probably being a curmudgeon, it felt way too chaotic without a lot of depth. I’m still upset that Pratt is Mario, but whatever. They packed so much in here, Easters egg and franchises, that it’s overwhelming. Tons of action/fighting left little room for story and character development. A lot of characters have personalities that I don’t think fit very well.

Overall, it was fine and I’d have given it a like but there are too many issues in my opinion. It’d be a one and done, but I have kids and they loved it. So I’m sure I’ll end up watching it again.

WHY ARE WE BREEZING PAST THE FACT THAT YOSHI ATE A DOG THEN SHAT OUT AN EGG? 4.5/10

i like fox’s anime introduction so cool

actually so mad i got spoiled on fox being in the movie i would’ve gone crazy in the theater

The music is so good tho holy shit

Not as good as the first. Kind of a lot going on story/plot wise but still a solid movie. I give it a 6.3/10
