No 280 character review could sum this up. It felt like a movie about making a movie about bias while also somehow being unbiased? Fucking insane. The ONLY thing I was confident about when I left was this - that loser she married is the worst of them all. Fuck Billy

the best documentary that i’ve ever seen. it is so nathan fielder but that only goes to enhance it. it’s so classically uncomfortable, awkward and goofy but in this case it takes it into the psyche of those awkward moments instead of making them a joke. this movie represents everything wrong with america so well. a fraudster who is so incompetent she believes she has done nothing wrong and billy evans who is just a raging psychopathic narcissist. i don’t know how you agree to something like this thinking it will make you look positively. can only be pure narcissism 🎥

11/10 I think this was the best movie of the year yet I’m still insanely confused, perplexed, stunned, and speechless on what I just witnessed. This movie was insane in all the right ways and Nathan fielder is a genius!

Best theater experience i have had in my life - funniest movie i have watched in a while but it was also so gripping and uncomfortable - nathan fielder was perfect for this he does such a good job getting the most out of the experience - you learn so much about the story and see through the thought processes of two genuine psychopaths - i thought amanda seyfried was amazing and her question for nathan at the end leaves such an open ended feeling - the way this was shot was fantastic and the way nathan layered the scenes was just so good - incredible movie

The three-hour runtime somehow isn’t long enough. This is a mind-boggling experience that I didn’t want to end. You’ll be thinking about this for a long time after you leave the theater. One of my favorites of the year

It was hilarious how they captured the awkwardness of the silence in their conversations. I also love how it’s really open for interpretation of what you think happened. They did a great job of showcasing everything. My only complaint is that it could’ve been shorter imo

Nathan Fielder’s magnum opus.

What a movie. What a documentary. Not sure I’ve ever watched anything that made me feel like this did.

I left feeling confused ultimately. Which I do believe was the goal, you as a viewer are likely to be more lost by the end than you were when you started.

But this is a real life, mind bending masterpiece. Can’t recommend seeing it enough.

This docu-film is absolutely unreal.
I can’t even begin to describe how meta this is.
I genuinely don’t know if Elizabeth Holmes is a con artist. This film did enough for me to believe that she genuinely believes she did nothing wrong.
The Who’s on first scene is actually unreal. The fact that she could explain why the bit is funny is so strange.
This document is like an onion. It starts as a normal documentary and as well peel back the layers, it goes deeper than I have ever seen a documentary go before.

There are no words to explain the feeling you get watching this, but I will be chasing that feeling everyday for the rest of my life.
