wildly impressive and commendable effort from harris dickinson, the dude clearly has tons of talent and is truly passionate about film. strong performances with a conflicting lead, some gorgeous music and shots make this one stick. feels indie with mainstream production; exciting

I wanted to love this, but I’m not 100%. It was definitely a strong directorial debut for Harris and I think the cast were great. The realism was a strength in every aspect, be it dialogue, setting, wardrobe etc, but it slightly lost me with the abstract/metaphorical scenes.

I wasn’t sure about this film at first, but it grew on me over time. It manages to portray homelessness and addiction without Hollywood cliches. The main character is compelling and unflinchingly honest. Very intimate, character driven storytelling.

Harris Dickinson smashes out of the gate with his directorial debut, Urchin.

A great start to his director career, and I also think he’s a great actor.

The film is great, I think it portrays the vicious cycle masterfully and doesn’t let you love or hate Mike, it’s kind of a rollercoaster and I’m here for it

I can’t wait to see more

Great ending, great way to describe the feeling, great way to show it visually.

Self destructive is an understatement for Mike. I’m liking this because I was impressed with a feature debut for director Dickinson, not that I really want to watch this again
