Sydney Sweeney has had an amazing year. She has showed impressive range and crushed performances in Eden, Americana, and now Christy. Fantastic film!

The acting is beautiful as well as the story. Christy is such an inspiration and knowing the amount of work and care Sweeney put into this part is truly amazing.

Sydney finally does something serious

What an amazing, yet tragic story of a truly talented athlete! Sweeney continues to show her range as an actress in her portrayal of Christy Martin, the greatest female boxer you’ve never heard of! The last 30 minutes are so bat shit crazy, it’s amazing it actually happened!

Actually a very good movie. Kinda a shame that this seemed to slip in between some high profile misses for Sidney Sweeney. It’s well made and well acted. The story behind it is crazy and from what I know/have heard this is a pretty acurate portrayal with Christy Martin working closely with the crew.

Brilliant film 👏 definitely showcased Sydney sweeyney's acting abilities. She was excellent in this. Absolutely brutal and frustrating. Well written and heart wrenching. Whole cast were excellent but Sydney shone in this and not for the "assets".

56/200 very very pleasantly surprised it was actually a pretty good movie, but idk much about christy so i’m not sure how accurate it is

7.2/10. Really cool story. Inspiring, sad, deals with tough topics but doesn’t dwell in them. Definitely worth a watch and super crazy story going into it knowing basically nothing. Would recommend and watch again some day.

It’s ok. Sydney Sweeney catches a lot of hate for her views or lack of clarity on her views but I think she did a good job here. It’s not my favorite boxing movie but as a biopic it’s solid and the fights look like actual boxing matches that aren’t over choreographed. 5/10

Better than I thought it would be

Watched the real Christy’s story from the Untold docuseries, so that and Sweeney in the titular role caught my attention. Story of heart and resiliency with great performances and an absolutely harrowing third act. A modern Million Dollar Baby that is absolutely worth the watch.

Pretty solid actually. Ending was def the best part. Sydney was on and off with her performance. Lisa was my fav, and Jeff. Jim was a good villain. Honestly better than I thought it would be. 7.5/10

one of the best sydney sweeney performances i have seen! incredibly good and insightful about the world of women’s boxing as well as the story of christy martin, which i had been unfamiliar with until this film. really enjoyed though

Behind every woman is an abusive man. And beside thing is crappy family members who never stand up for them.
