It’s not faithful to the game, but we knew that already…

It’s not something that I’d give a second watch but I can’t lie, I did have fun in the theater with my friends.

The gore was pretty fun and creative, maybe they used the guy with the mask a little much but I can forgive them.

I think it could’ve been called something else because idk about until dawn, it’s not similar at all, like yes, you get some stuff from the game but that’s a sprinkle, it doesn’t need to be called that.

Overall it was fun, cinematography was nothing special, maybe a bit too dark in some areas.

I was stressed watching it. Good jump scares. But it was a huge let down from the actual game. Loved that they kept Peter from the game in this movie. Still good even tho it’s not the same plot as the game

Had a few good moments. Wasn’t my thing and it didn’t scare me. I didn’t like the characters and thought the tone of the film wasn’t as serious as it could have been. I won’t be watching this again any time soon. Not what I expected and not what I was looking for.

I HATTTTTTEEEE horror movies that feel hopeless with that extra addition of existential dread. It’s just so hard to get through. Like the fact they can’t even give up and die willingly because of the loop it’s just UGH. I hate it here. Btw, WTF did Megan do to deserve all that?😭

It’s a serviceable enough horror movie with some enjoyable moments scattered throughout it, but it’s still nowhere close to a good movie. It has boring characters and misses the point of its premise halfway through. Plus, it’s absolutely disgusting as an adaptation of the game.

Good film but it’s a shame to relate this to the game. Nice cinematography and an intriguing plot but I feel like it was a bit of a waste of an amazing concept. Overall worth a watch and was entertaining, but I’m just sad we won’t get a game accurate film 😭

Boasting strong performances and an entertaining amount of scares, Until Dawn is a fun theatre experience, though the weak story prevents it from being much more than that.

Nothing burger. Some of the killers are interesting, but the most creative designs are barely featured. The characters are very vanilla, the payoff to the questions are not explained well enough, and it relies too heavily on jump scares

Not familiar with the original source material but i am very much a fan of this. This lowkey reminds me of Escape Room in a way but like more terrifying. Is it weird if i said I’d wanna experience this with my friend group?!

I enjoyed it a lot, funny, good scares, good kills.
I am happy that it is not a copy of the game. loved the easter eggs. :)

As a lover of the game, I was hyped for this but it fell flat. I knew they wouldnt follow the original story before going in and was interested in what they’d do. There were some great moments but overall it was meh for me.

The best part of the movie is its variety of monsters, but its waste of the concept is also one of its biggest weaknesses. The three best monster designs get little to no screen time. The characters are totally nothing burgers.
