I don’t think I’ve hated someone as much as I did while watching this. That mother needs to be in some sort of psych ward because she is MESSED UP in the head, good god. So so messed up. She needed more jail time then 18 months. Lock her up FOR LIFE. Manipulative little flea bag!

Totally shocked at the lack of accountability for her actions. I think she would’ve just kept going and I don’t believe her remorse at all. To continue when Owen said he was suicidal… surely the consequences should’ve been far greater. So sorry for Lo, she needs a mum (not her)

This case was extremely interesting however the documentary does it little justice.
While the twist regarding who the culprit was, provided some shock value, I was disappointed that the interviewers didn’t go into more depth and interrogate more to unveil underlying intentions which may not have been known while this was an ongoing situation.
Overall I feel as though the documentary fell kind of flat, feeling more like a factual summary rather than a meaningful deep dive.

5.7/10 diddnt blow me away at all. Good documentary’s need a lot of twists and turns and this just diddnt have it. Cracks me up tho how they make it seem like a massive investigation. This hick sheriff had to call in the FBI to send Verizon a search warrant? That’s amateur shit

Fascinating I cannot fathom being the mom and doing those things to your child. Terrible stuff but very interesting documentary. The mom is absolutely psychotic and needs to never see her child again because no mother behaves that way. Honestly disgusting but made a good watch

Um WTF?!?!? THE MOTHER?!?!? I thought nothing could top the sweet Bobby catfish but here we are. Those poor kids, the daughter is going to need A LOTTTTT of therapy for the rest of her life. While it was a super interesting story, the documentary did everyone a disservice by not diving deeper into the motivations behind the crime and why the mom said the vulgar disgusting things that she did. Like it was borderline pedophilic. I feel dissatisfied with how it ended and I feel like I know very little as to why it was the kid’s own parent! Goes to show you can literally trust no one.

I can’t decide my theory. For sure mom needs so much help. I like when the principal said Munchhausen by technology! Very true. Did she have a thing for the BF? Possible. Also, I feel like what she was texting she was saying to herself in a way. She was living a lie. So sad tho
