Underworld: Awakening

Well I have a lot to say about this movie.

First of all I didn’t really like the whole human storyline where humans are now aware of the existance of Lycans and vampires wanting to stop them at all costs. Idk it just didn’t reel me in the same way the other movies did.

Also I wished this had a more different color grading to it because I feel that this movie lost a bit of that more blueish lighting from the previous movies that I liked.

I mean yes the action was exactly the kind I liked and this movie has a huge ton of it so I aint complaining about that.

The story was also pretty interesting with the way Selene now has a hybrid daughter.

Obviously the first movies were the best and with movie franchises the movies usually get worse the more you make them, and I’m not saying this movie was bad, it just lacked the sort of vibe from the previous movies.

So in conclusion this was an okay installment to the Underworld series with great action and an alright story.

This was a great rewatch, I forgot how entertaining the Underworld franchise was. I do believe that the franchise should’ve expanded beyond Selene. Also no way India Eisley was 17-18 when this was filmed, she looks like she’s 12.
