Watched this so many times as a kid. I rewatched it now and it’s definitely cheesy but my child self loved every minute of it.

There isn’t much when it comes to strory and plot, just a dog that gets superpowers.

With a mix of slapstick humor and simple superhero tropes, it charms younger audiences but feels thin for adults.
Despite this, its heart and canine hero keep it an easy, feel-good watch.

Think live-action Krypto with a goofy twist. It’s a cute family film with a few clever nods to the original. The superhero-dog gimmick lands a few laughs, and the heart’s in the right place.
