i tried hard to like it, but there's not much to like past act 1. outright dont like some of the decisions they made writing wise. paul's acting is alright but other than that it's pretty weak all around.

A simple feel good movie. The countryside aesthetic hits well, the man’s and his family’s struggle with his sexuality and the niece’s pov have a kind touch to it

For a minute there I thought Daddy Mac killed Sam.
I found it interesting that Mammaw said a mother always knows, but Marsha didn't know why her son liked walking around in her heels. Maybe she has yet to realize because he's still pretty young.

Well I’ll be damned this movie was much more heartwarming than I thought.
I wanted to watch this movie because of Paul Bettany and I’m glad I did because it was much better than I thought.
I liked the story and the characters and I thought Wally was such a silly guy so honorable mention to him.
I also liked that the movie wasn’t long and it had a good ending.

This movie is truly amazing. It is heartbreaking but that is just part of what makes it even more realistic.
Can I just say what Wally and Frank have for each other is a good example of what love should be. Wally stands by him no matter what. I highly recommend this movie!
