No where near as good as the book but it was still a really good movie - it left out a lot of moments from the book but it also had some uniqueness to it - the ending was completely different and I actually liked it better - overall an amazing true story on determination

Louis Zamperini's story is a very moving one. I found everything he had to go through to survive impressive. Jack O'Connell did an incredible job portraying him.

The guard definitely had a crush on him, there's no other way.
