Me ha parecido un poco mierdon, no me engancha no me llama, la vi porque la tenia en la lista y tampoco tenia otra cosa mejor que ver, pero es malisima. Si que es cierto que esta basada en echos reales y tal pero me ha costado tragarmela.

A true‑story drama that never rises above average. The back‑and‑forth timeline is fine, the acting and filming just ok, but nothing truly lands. A sad story of lifelong abuse and a marriage built on lies, yet the film’s delivery feels flat and forgettable. 4.5/10

Apesar do tema simples, o filme constrói bem os protagonistas. O problema está em tentar vitimizar Elize e amenizar sua responsabilidade pelo crime, transformando-a em vítima das circunstâncias. Essa romantização prejudica o filme.

P.S. 1. The actress playing the female killer had a really beautiful nose—a picture-perfect nose, really.

P.S. 2. The text showing the dates at the end of the movie doesn't quite add up: she was charged and found guilty in '16, sentenced to 16 years and 3 months in '19, served 10 years, and was released on parole in '22.
As I write this, it's mid-'26, and the numbers don't make sense to me.
