The writing was HORRIBLE. This was genuinely so painful to sit through. I can’t even explain how bad the script was. However… Glen Powell in a cowboy hat in the rain… and Glen Powell in sunglasses… and Glen Powell in a backwards baseball cap… and Gle- you get the idea.

pretty entertaining. love how the main female character was written (smart women 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩). glen had me giggling and kicking my feet, oh the man that he is 🤭. can we keep anthony in musicals pls 🧍🏻. overall the tornado scenes were pretty intense and done incredibly well imo.

i actually really loved this movie 🙂‍↕️✋ the bi panic, the chemistry, smart women <3, the tension!!! i really liked how the story unfolded and just really wanted her to have a win

Was it good? Not bad it was Mid, but good action sometimes. Would i watch it again? Nope. I still don’t get it how can u say “beautiful “ “gorgeous “ when u see big ass tornado coming at you… 5.7/10

pretty good and held my attention for the most part. kinda wish there was more backstory for some characters but it’s very action packed & some solid wit is sprinkled in there. glen powell is so damn fine. anthony ramos needed to run through his lines one more time, he should maybe stick to musicals - 7.5/10

I love the OG and this kept the spirit I think. I do the flip in the perspectives. Also the main character being a female instead. Starting with the being on the paid for crew with sponsors and backers. I like they kept some of the iconic trucks. The fun loving team being smaller was a better design. You did understand most of their roles and places. I am always a sucker for disaster movies. Honestly can’t wait to rewatch this. I would also love either a sequel or short run series of where it goes.

Did not expect to enjoy this movie sm, this shit ate downnn!!!! Perfect summer thriller! Had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Soundtrack ate down too. And god damn Glenn Powell looks oso sexy in this!!

7.9 - Pressure was high & Twisters did a good enough job. I had a lot of fun. It felt much more like the over the top Hollywood disaster blockbuster that most people view the original as, than the all time classic that I think it is. And as my 2nd most anticipated movie of the year, I’m content. Glen Powell is great, Daisy Edgar-Jones is solid. The ‘nados are bigger and badder. There’s a decent number of references and callbacks, especially visually. And there’s enough heart in the core story that I really love from the 1st one. But the supporting cast really lacks. Anthony Ramos is bland. Sasha Lane & Brandon Perea (Lily & Boone) try their hardest but can’t touch the level of laughs and charisma that Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Alan Ruck, & the rest of the Barn Burner Extreme Team brought to the original script. Effects were great & sound was on par with its Oscar winning predecessor. But overall there’s just a few too many things missing for me to fully love this entry.

It was a good movie overall. In my opinion nothing SPECIAL but it was just a good movie in general with good actors and a decently good plot

I appreciate the standalone approach, which plays upon aspects of the original but modernizes it in clever, entertaining ways.

saw this mf in 4DX came out with whip last and a mild concussion but i can say, i was basically inside the tornado and yes i can tell you that glen powell smells like beef and wheat
