Man this was WAY better than I was expecting. The story of this movie is so strong and heartfelt. The acting all around is amazing but Dylan O’Brien carries this movie on his back (not really) with his absolutely phenomenal performance! There were a lot of shocking moments in this movie, especially the twists and reveals, which I think they did really well. It also made me giggle a bit, it’s really a ride watching this movie, it makes you go through so many emotions. The characters were great and well written and they where very compelling and their motivations were pretty interesting. Overall much better than I thought it would be and might be one if the best films this year.
My score: 8.5/10

the main characters are so complex which is really interesting!! it also made me think about the tv show “dead to me”, it’s not the same at all but there’s a similar thematic which was cool to see

"You know how people say "just be yourself"? Like, what version of me? I hate most of them. But the version of me that was just hanging out with you, I... I wanted to be him all the time."
This movie was insanely good. I understand why people like Dylan O'Brien so much, because he is an amazing actor. He expresses anger and grief so well and I was enamored by his performance. I discovered this movie through an edit and it is nothing like how I thought it was going to be.
I thought Dennis and Roman would try to replace the grief of their twins with each other but ?? newsflash! Dennis never even had a twin!! And you can see how easily lying comes to him. The different personalities he shows to people to try and adjust. I felt sad for him, but of course what he did was crazy. I could never forgive someone for that so Roman really is the good twin. I do not think it was Dennis' fault for Rocky’s death. Rocky should've been paying attention - someone yelling at him or not. I know Dennis had a bad childhood and he feels a connection with the twin theory, but it wasn't right for him to pretend to have one while attending meetings where everyone else's twin was dead. I know it felt like a slap in the face.
Roman and Dennis had a cute friendship, but it was based on lies so I understand why Marcie said Dennis needed to tell him. I would honestly be so upset if I was exposed, beat up, and then was asked if I was coming to work, but Marcie had a good heart and I love her.
All of the characters were so lovable and I was happy to see François!!

A movie with a very strong human element. I really enjoyed the emotions felt and the excellent performances.
How much is it our responsibility to deal with loneliness? How much is it others?

Wow! This one was odd but in a good way? It made me extremely uncomfortable at times but not too uncomfortable. Highly recommend if you like odd things or Dillion.

I did sort of predict it all so it was okay. I just don’t love when movies are a bit odd and slow. Still a good plot though

the plot is thick, but the lore was thicker.
the film was lowkey so good i had to do a double take just to let it simmer.
