phenomenal sound design.

knew from the start that this film would stand out the most with the sound mixing.

going from outside to listening to what niki hears was truly immersive & they nailed it so beautifully.

makes you value your hearing so much. we take so many things for granted and the fact that it’s a story about an incredible pianist who is diagnosed with hyperacusis and tunes pianos is so powerful to me.

first time seeing leo woodall on the big screen and im sure this won’t be the last. bro knows how to act.

loved the screenplay + score. great tempo and rhythm. no pun intended.

the ending was the cherry on top.

great film, truly deserves more recognition.

I put off watching this for so long. Why??

I loved this movie. It’s stylish like Whiplash, has great characters and just a real heart to it. Sound design and editing were on point. Not much else to say but the main two actors in this were awesome. If you haven’t watched it, you should now. Major 2026 sleeper, and I can almost definitely say it’ll be in my top 10 of the year.

This movie gives me whiplash and baby driver feels, it’s not as good as those movies but I still really liked this. It’s a very unique concept I haven’t really seen before that pulled me in, this movie really had me engaged start to finish.

It did really well at creating anxiety, whenever he started to cover his ears in pain, I think we all understand at least a little that he is going through some painful shit, and then the ending with the air horn, fuck me dead! Maybe it’s because my autistic ass really hates like loud noises, but I just connected a lot with him. But yeah it’s a super solid film with a lot to love.

What a stellar movie. No notes. Was a little sad the way it ended because I wanted more.

Great one and well played

Between a like and a love for me. The plot was somewhat predictable (not necessarily a bad thing) but I really enjoyed it. The writing was good, the characters were good, and the plot was solid. I also like the piano.

PERFECTION. put off watching this movie because i knew it’d be amazing, and i never wanted it to end. it’s as if Baby Driver, Whiplash, and Sound of Metal all had a threesome and gave birth to an unwanted baby named Tuner. this movie is SO good. use of sound in it is CHEFS KISS!!

This film was kind of similar to Baby Driver in a way. Great story, characters, and pacing.

don’t think i’ve cried this much in the cinema. took me really hard and i really couldn’t cope but was extremely good.
i changed the rating again because i don’t know how to feel about it.

Great, emotional roller coaster through out.

Interesting movie, is a bit slower than I was expecting, nice music and amazing pianos. It’s the kind of movie you sit knowing something bad must be around the corner. The recruiter boss dude is plain crazy for what he does…

Wonderful film

Kind of reminds me of Baby Driver but with some differences. I really love the natural chemistry and dynamic between Niki and Ruthie

6/10 - Sound and editing are pretty great here. As someone with hearing issues, I relate to the sound conceptualization in this film. Story is predictable but with some solid originality. Enjoyable watch.

I love this movie. Was a little thrown off at first, but it just reminded me so much of Baby Driver. Not much else to say other than I would definitely watch it again! The ending really just pissed me off, but it was honestly an ironic finish. 9/10

This movie was good I’d say it’s worth a watch. I would be pissed if I had the diagnosis our protagonist has. I liked how they had the couple of goons reveal they actually had some sense of humanity inside them lol. Nothing groundbreaking here but it was interesting
