What a stellar movie. No notes. Was a little sad the way it ended because I wanted more.

phenomenal sound design.

knew from the start that this film would stand out the most with the sound mixing.

going from outside to listening to what niki hears was truly immersive & they nailed it so beautifully.

makes you value your hearing so much. we take so many things for granted and the fact that it’s a story about an incredible pianist who is diagnosed with hyperacusis and tunes pianos is so powerful to me.

first time seeing leo woodall on the big screen and im sure this won’t be the last. bro knows how to act.

loved the screenplay + score. great tempo and rhythm. no pun intended.

the ending was the cherry on top.

great film, truly deserves more recognition.

Actually amazing

This was actually really, really good. I cannot stress enough how good the soundtrack and sound design was, Ruthie and Niki had amazing chemistry - all the acting was so good. Leo Woodall is also not hard on the eyes so… I’m a woman 🤷‍♀️

This movie gives me whiplash and baby driver feels, it’s not as good as those movies but I still really liked this. It’s a very unique concept I haven’t really seen before that pulled me in, this movie really had me engaged start to finish.

It did really well at creating anxiety, whenever he started to cover his ears in pain, I think we all understand at least a little that he is going through some painful shit, and then the ending with the air horn, fuck me dead! Maybe it’s because my autistic ass really hates like loud noises, but I just connected a lot with him. But yeah it’s a super solid film with a lot to love.

My score: 8/10
