the kind of absurdly surreal, musical experience that only david byrne could conjure up to life. wonderfully strange yet beautifully simple with a variety of meaningful characters and stories. the music is obviously incredible, but so is the cinematography and just overall vibe

A clever and compassionate satire on consumerism and the culture of America’s middle class and even serves as a celebration of individuality; This nearly feels like a tourism video because the town feels like the main character at times. Great soundtrack too.

8.5/10 “Did you fart?” Absolute genius commentary of capitalism, somehow an accurate representation while also making fun of it. So very ‘Texascore’, it has a perfect yet exaggerated portrayal of Texans with uncanny-valley-esque features that make sense. I love the soundtrack!!

Maybe I am kind of sad, I like sad songs. They make me want to lie on the floor.

A fantastic art house feature. I love the soundtrack as well.
