don’t even get me started. POINTS OFF FOR MAKING ACHILLES AND PATROCLUS COUSINS AND NOT LOVERS THEY WERENT RELATED ?? i do like the plot and it was a pretty star studded cast. i’d do anything for an actual achilles patroclus love story but close enough :( well made though

Siento que si es buena, pero la compare bastante con gladiador q para mi es altamente superior en todo, para mi el fallo es algo de dirección o los cortes q aveces hace q las actuaciones queden como sobreactuadas, la música meh pero la historia en sí es buena y atrapa, terrible

If the odyssey is a continuation of this, it’s gonna be a tall task. Banger cast. Scale is unreal. Not bad CGI for 2004. Crazy story. Like how they didn’t focus on the horse. Fight scenes were dope. If the new Achilles is a man chick that’s gonna be a miss. Careful of the tittie

Not accurate because Achilles and Patroclus weren’t cousins, they were lovers. The war lasted years, and the Greek army suffered a lot of losses from sickness and more things. But the action was good and Brad and the actor who played Hector looked fine asf

Surprisingly little Iliad in this Troy: different story and characters, rarely used language from the poem, diminished some of the most powerful scenes (embassy of Odysseus and Ajax to Achilles, last meeting of Hector and Andromache) and added new fatuous ones, no gods at all.

Good movie

It’s super inaccurate which hurts my soul as as classics student however as an action movie by itself it’s not too bad. And Brad Pitt being in it helps too.

Having the famous scenes realized from the Odyssey and Iliad in HiDef, is of course going to be awesome. Brad Pitt and Eric Bana do a great job representing two very different types of soldiers. One fighting for his family, the other earning glory for all time.

Longer than it needed to be but definitely good for the time and portrayed what happened in a mid way but could’ve been better felt ellamentaty not that good fighting just big scale would never rewatch but it was cool to watch once though Brad Pitt was tough as shit
