Sometimes the acting is a bit cheesy. Overall, good story and not crazy bad or anything, but I just wasn’t sold and couldn’t get that into it

I feel like it isn’t talked about as much as others, but I did enjoy it.

This movie was so underrated. It was an absolutely amazing performance by Clint Eastwood and I love how baseball connected him and his daughter. It was such a cute and wholesome movie.

The charisma of JT and Adams makes this baseball romance work. And the gritty drama from Eastwood and Goodman make the drama side work.

6.8/10. Is a little slow at times. If you don’t like baseball you might not like it that much. It is a pretty good story though even if it’s not real. Very good YouTube rewatchable ending.
