If you’re going to watch a movie with commentary on capitalism, watch this over The Menu

Some funny and interesting social commentary but not really my film style. Unnecessarily gross for one stretch and also probably don’t watch this if you’re prone to seasickness. This was a few clicks off from being really good imo

Ok. First entire part of the movie you’ll be so bored and confused why someone would recommend this then you get to the island part and it’s like mind blowing.

Decent social commentary but best picture? Nah.

Although there is some biting social satire and a couple laughs to be had. The general slow pace, flat characters, and seemingly senseless gross out moments did not impress me. It’s trying to be deep but comes off as shallow which may be the goal? Not for me…

I prefer other films about social class. This one had too slow of a start and even after the chaos midway through, it didn't get much better.

Great movie. The vomiting scene was just too hilarious

This movie was so bizarre and unique, I loved it. Definitely some gross scenes, but it made the movie so much better because it felt like it wasn’t a sugarcoated movie.
