Crazy how much film has developed since then cuz idk if I could sit through this again.

This was a cute film and a classic tale. Done very well and actors playing Long John Silver and Jim Hawkins was great their relationship and story was fab. Just was missing something else with the rest of story and ensemble which is why I couldn’t love it

Seen this once with my cousins. Should probably go in meh but movie really is kinda aids but it’s a classic so it gets a pass

Amazing film, still holds up

Une bonne adaptation du livre qui peut paraître un peu vielle mais c’est ce qui apporte du charme et un sentiment d’époque au récit.

The pacing felt a bit long and moments could've been better. Jim Hawkins character could’ve been explored a little more in the exposition. The FX for violence is quite humorous given modern comparisons. I didn’t realize that Treasure Planet (2002) is a reimagining of this story.

I remember I had to watch this with my literature class after reading the book. I like this movie, and Bobby Driscoll (RIP) was phenomenal in his role as main protagonist Jim Hawkins (aka “Master ‘Awkins’”) The guy who played along John Silver was pretty good, too.
