Training Day Reviews

I will kill your wife. I will kill your son. I will kill your infant daughter.

Do you think it’s called training day because he was training that day? I was hoping for a movie about trains or a movie with a bunch of trains in it. This did have some trains but not that much. If you want a movie about trains don’t watch this. It’s an ok movie with some trains

KING KONG AIN’T GOT SHIT ON ME!

Really subversive take on the generic buddy-cop movie format. Alonzo is a very morally ambiguous character. I don’t know if the writers intended for this to happen, but it really increases the quality of the movie; Solid, solid action. Really holds up 20+ years later.

8.7/10

that’s the worst apple i’ve ever seen

banger of a film.

the best denzel performance i’ve ever witnessed. easily my favorite film he’s ever starred in.

plot twists were crazy, storytelling was spectacular.

some good amount of action sequences, especially the ending was bonkers.

camerawork is phenomenal. those birds eye top down follow shots were incredible. beautiful cinematography.

loved the cast.

seeing eva mendez nude wasn’t on my bingo card haha. not complaining tho ;)

top tier crime film. way ahead of its time.

9.2 / 10

o personagem do policial branco passou o filme todo sendo um banana mosca morta p depois pagar de mocinho com grande senso moral

This movie was wild. Denzel was ruthless in here and his acting seemed sincere and real. Distinctive movie. It was too many unanswered questions though. This was a lot to happen in one day. The manipulation and psychology in here was just crazy. Some strange plot twists too.

The ending was 🔥🔥🔥

Really good

I can rewatch this daily

liked it alot, good plot twists 7.5/10

Extremely good, first movie I said I’d watch again too in a long while, denzel Washington is a good lad. 8.5/10

Jag såg den full så hade svårt att hänga med i en del, Pontus fick förklara som sett den redan. Det tog bort lite tyvärr men om jag ska försöka förbise det är det en väldigt bra film. Annorlunda och underhållande samt spännande. 7.5/10.

second watch was a whole lot better. I was able to see it at amc this time and was actually able to appreciate how good the music and filming is. the plot is obv great. the cinematography and pacing is great. the acting from denzel and ethan hawke stands out crazy. denzel the 🐐

Very good

Excelente película actuación ganadora del Óscar por Denzel Washington además Ethan Hawk no se queda atrás

Seamless plot, a beautiful portrayal of corruption and ego. Nonestop action yet psychologically pleasing.
