Do you think it’s called training day because he was training that day? I was hoping for a movie about trains or a movie with a bunch of trains in it. This did have some trains but not that much. If you want a movie about trains don’t watch this. It’s an ok movie with some trains

KING KONG AIN’T GOT SHIT ON ME!

Really subversive take on the generic buddy-cop movie format. Alonzo is a very morally ambiguous character. I don’t know if the writers intended for this to happen, but it really increases the quality of the movie; Solid, solid action. Really holds up 20+ years later.

banger of a film.

the best denzel performance i’ve ever witnessed. easily my favorite film he’s ever starred in.

plot twists were crazy, storytelling was spectacular.

some good amount of action sequences, especially the ending was bonkers.

camerawork is phenomenal. those birds eye top down follow shots were incredible. beautiful cinematography.

loved the cast.

seeing eva mendez nude wasn’t on my bingo card haha. not complaining tho ;)

top tier crime film. way ahead of its time.

This movie was wild. Denzel was ruthless in here and his acting seemed sincere and real. Distinctive movie. It was too many unanswered questions though. This was a lot to happen in one day. The manipulation and psychology in here was just crazy. Some strange plot twists too.

The ending was 🔥🔥🔥
