Absolutely not as bad as I had heard, but definitely not on the same level as the first three.

A far overhated entry in the franchise, that’s by no means perfect, but well intentioned.

All re-caught up for Toy Story 5 next month and I still really enjoy this one. Priorities being misplaced is the only real downfall, with the majority of the toys we know and love are sidelined in favour of characters we won’t likely be seeing beyond this film. The next entry does seem to be course correcting and going back to what’s important, but time will tell.

Tony Hale is a fantastic addition as Forky, truly, truly hilarious - particularly early on as he’s introduced and the interactions he has with Hanks’s Woody. Jordan and Peele are hilarious too, wouldn’t expect any less from them.

It’s the worst of the four, but not at all bad - even remotely. This is the peak of generated media for me, the lighting and reflections on toys and the environment are just insane to see, even the 5th one looks to be a step down.
