OP Incel Discord final boss vs. toys. Compared to the first, the improvements are almost astonishing. The animation is slightly better, but the story and themes are significantly better and bigger. I'm surprised I even understood what was going on as a child. There's so much that happened and too much I want to mention. The references to other pieces of media, the voice acting, the lore, the gang and new additions, the fix-up and airport scene, the jokes, the emotional montages, the bloopers, and basically the entire runtime.

i can’t not love every single toy story film. this one used to be my favourite (ie because toy story 3 was sad) but this was still brilliant as ever.

It’s crazy the extent of the animation improvements from the first - in only 4 years!

The story, again like the first, is fantastic. Tackling the notion of broken toys - making us reflect on what we did with our own when they broke! It’s cool to see a wider world, with technical capabilities now in play, as it is for each subsequent film with a larger toy box to play with.

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are both great, Allen again getting now to play BOTH sides of Buzz. Kelsey Grammar and Joan Cusack are both fantastic new additions to the roster, bringing so much life and personality to their characters.

Looking forward to seeing the third entry again, although I’m mentally preparing for that ending!🫠
