You can’t NOT like this classic. Very nostalgic and brings back memories for most of us. Sad and tragic story but very heartwarming at the end. Would say this is the best one of the series.

Throughout almost every movie I go on my phone out of lack of enjoyment or my low attention span but this somehow kept my attention throughout the whole movie which is very hard to do and I take back this being overrated if anything it’s a tad underrated 8.9/10

I forgot how older movies typically had very low visual stimuli. It was very refreshing! This film was pretty good.

Starting the series rewatch for the 5th entry nice and early!

These films are fantastic, the first two show their age in a big way, especially this first one. But not once did it even mildly hinder the impact it makes as you watch, all these years later. It’s incredibly funny, engaging and surprisingly emotional - it covers all imaginable bases with a concept that is remarkably original.

Tom Hanks gets the most leg work and he’s great at it. Nowadays a lot of actors are branching into voice work, yet there’s something many can’t get quite right, particularly compared to dedicated voice actors - but no Hanks. Tim Allen is hilarious, he plays Buzz’s early conviction so well, committing to the bit and it’s easily the funniest part of this film.

I can’t imagine what it was like seeing something of this grandeur in animation back in ‘95. Even as a kid in the mid 2000’s, the impact it made on me was substantial - hell I’m still watching and enjoying it now.
