Iconic movie but.., really strange to watch modern day

It's not perfect, but it's actually quite the progressive film for 1982. Dustin Hoffman nails it, Jessica Lange is perfect, and Bill Murray is hilarious. Also shoutout to Teri Garr, who I thought had one of the best scenes in the movie. Really funny and surprisingly emotional

“tootsie” is a film ahead of its time and a film that is still very prominent. women are worth more than your attraction to them. dustin hoffman did a phenomenal job showcasing this.

At first seems like a campy and silly 80s classic, but deep down is a scathing satire on the entertainment industry and the issues that women face in that industry.
