To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar

AHHHHH BEST MOVIE EVER ARE YOU KIDDING

NO NOTES.

one of my new favs i love the message and i actually loved patrick away w as the lead in this. i think the casting director is genius for this because audiences stereotype the actor as exceedingly masculine. Yet in this movie he plays a more feminine, caring, gentle character.

everything you hope for from a queer film. super uplifting and funny and wonderful. it reminds me alot of the birdcage.

Chi Chi is the ditsy, sassy, funny heart of the film. charming performance by the legend John Leguizamo! Patrick Swayze is so motherrr you can tell he poured his soul into the emotional scenes. Wesley Snipes hurt everyone’s feelings the entire time it was hilarious

I wish I could say I loved this but Priscilla, Queen of the desert exists. And Priscilla has the costumes and the music which this sadly lacks. Still a cute story though.
