but they kept some of the beautiful sentences that harper lee wrote
atticus will always be a hero to me, but not a strong or powerful one but an honest one
someone who does what he thinks is right

a brilliant and expertly-crafted adaptation of a phenomenal classic novel. fantastic lead performances with true heart and an all-time great script. most high schoolers will see this film and find it uninteresting, just to later see its true value

god, such a child hood classic. an old film but definitely worth watching.

A fascinating historical snapshot anchored by a great script & another legendary Gregory Peck performance, playing an inspiring example of courage & fatherhood. Plus I'm always a sucker for courtroom scenes. A couple minor plot aspects didn't fully land - still a great film.

Watched the movie in middle class and ended up enjoying it
