It feels like this movie has fell into obscurity, but it's such a good time. It feels like a mix of Goonies and Jumanji.

cooper got mad at me because i called this a movie for little boys

I met someone who said that this was their favorite movie. They also accidentally ate a fake orange and didn’t realize until the third bite. I find these two things to be a direct consequence of each other but I don’t know in what direction.

I get why people love it, but it wasn’t for me. “Brazil” is better in every way.

Very impressed with the visual effects of this movie. The sets are amazing and the cinematography is done really well. Also, really funny writing all around. 9/10

Least wild 80s movie

This was so fun and such a trip, I want to do it too.

Wish I could leave it unrated because I don't really think any of the options fit. Shocking, strange. The lynching comment unnecessary and bizarre. Gave it a thumbs up for the first 3/4ths of the movie.

wildly imaginative and channels a very true spirit of childhood wonder. some phenomenal practical effects mixed in with scenic views and creative set pieces, with a hilariously grim ending

It’s probably a great nostalgic movie, but this was my first time seeing it. It’s sweet and good for kids.

what the fuck was the ending? this kid goes on an adventure with time traveling little people, and then his parents die in an explosion. It was just an okay kids' movie, nothing really special. I liked all the special effects, and it was kinda funny. Just wtf.
