9.1/10 - the fact that mental health was the main topic makes this movie even more special, and emotional.
wonderful, comforting and so enjoyable, the thunderbolts (and bob!) truly are fantastic together. i can’t wait to see what’s next, it’s gonna be amazing(ly chaotic).

Thunderbolts* is the first movie in a long time that actually feels like an old school Marvel movie.

i love the mcu antiheroes and had complete faith in this movie, and it did not disappoint, i adored every second of it :’)

The golden standard of the mcu that pales all post endgame in comparison, It’s intriguing and entertaining throughout, this managed to do in 2 hours what most shows can’t do in 8 seasons, I need to spend more time with the rest of the cast before I give any higher than a 9.3/10

0/10 - They killed off my favorite character in the MCU (Taskmaster) AT THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE MOVIE! THIS IS COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY UNACCEPTABLE! ALL I WANTED WAS MORE SCREENTIME WITH BEST, MOST COMPLEX, MOST INTERESTING CHARCATER IN THE MCU. Screw you Kevin Figue..Screw you.

Felt like a phase 2 movie very good

I needed a few days before rating, but the first half is a solid 8/10, unlike the second, which is a floppy 6/10. I'll start with the silver linings, from neck-spinning comedy to back-breaking stunts to tear-jerking emotion to head-rolling sounds/music, and last but not least, the talent that is Florence Pugh. Now for the understandably weaker aspects, such as attempting an Avengers movie without accompanying the scale/threat or portraying certain allegories in such a generically overused way. The mental health narrative, in general, was deeply relatable but also very predictable and rushed, spoiling important development and engagement. I just hope that 'Doomsday' builds on rather than destroys them.

The opening scene was sick, and with all the hype, I thought I was in for a treat, but it turns out it was just a mental health seminar. Why have super powers when you could be a therapist?
It was okay. Had a good message. Fun characters.

Imagine you’re at a get together with a bunch of close friends. Everyone is laughing, you hear some new great stories and enjoying every second of it.

Then, close friend “Billy” starts yelling profanity and assaulting fellow close friends of yours.

That’s what thunderbolts is.

Thunderbolts might be the surprise of the summer, a film that uses many of the classic Marvel storytelling tropes, injected with a fresh vision. A worthy successor to the Avengers series, that brings a boost of vitality and energy to the MCU.

The film, compared to the recent Marvel movies, turned out really well. It’s definitely worth watching as a Marvel fan, but even if you’re just in the mood for an action-comedy to relax with, it’s perfect for that too.
