The Sheep Detectives Reviews

The maid did it

Goated movie! Great story, good pacing and easy to follow with good comedic timing. It was super heart felt/warming too.Definitely worth a watch for sure. Also, RIP my boy Sebastian and the winter lamb is GOATED.

Rating: 8.3/10

Made me more emotional than I would’ve thought 😭 ♥️

Perfect cross between Knives Out and Paddington

Imma need to hire these sheep bruh

truly a good movie, i just feel like it was missing a few things to be a love for me. i really enjoyed it and somehow i didn’t prefire the killers identity beforehand. but it was a good watch

Watched the opening scene and turned it off. The CGI was so bad

Why was this decent? No… why was this actually good??? I’m not the kind to find joy in children’s movies but this, this was a wonderful surprise. It’s a hilariously told spiraling mystery where every character that isn’t a sheep is a grade A moron, the sheep on the other hand are all filled with unique characteristics and practically jump out of their effects, the sheep were great. Loved the voice acting, loved Greg (from Succession) and above all else I loved how this made me feel. There were times I laughed hard but times where all I could hear were kids laughing, it was wonderfully balanced, had great messages about grief and loss, and most importantly told a pretty adult story in a way that was presented for children, which as an adult made me feel nostalgic for the types of films I saw growing up. Very nice surprise 4/5

Pretty good! Mad paddington vibes. A nice
feel good movie and a decent murder mystery.

absolutely yes, everyone should watch this with their fam and/or friends - NOT just a kids movie + an enjoyable whodunnit

each and every sheep was perfect, but ofc shoutout to winter lamb (sob) and dear mopple omg

Wait so like……………I unironically LOVED THIS😭😭😭😭😭 I was legit crying in the theater at a TALKING SHEEP PICTURE YALL.

“Every sheep should have a name” winter lamb George🥹.

This movie was a lot of fun. Explored some topics I definitely did not expect from a movie about sheep solving a murder. I very nearly figured it out but am only a man and not a sheep.

8.6/10
I thought this was supposed to be a silly movie about sheep and 90 minutes in and I’m crying over CGI lambs.

Super simple plot had me locked in the whole way through.

I wish we got more Hugh Jackman, he was great for the few scenes he had.

Such a good plot twist. And the jokes were actually funny. ❤️🐏

4/5 - now i want a pet sheep (in case i need to solve a murder)

it was fine for a kids movie. can’t say I figured out whodunnit but it wasn’t too crazy of a reveal

Really fun film. The plot twist its kind of predictable, the acting IS good.

3/5 it was alright. probably wouldnt rewatch it, but it was really wholesome and elliots a baddie

Sebastian was the G.O.A.T. Cranston gives him so much personality that the grumpy loner quickly becomes my favorite. Also, loved the lesson Lily learns about not forgetting the bad stuff. You shouldn't erase the bad memories. Even painful experiences can teach you something.
