One of those movies that should be required to pass any history class. A warning to the current and past generation. Slow start but make it to the halfway point and you’ll be rewarded with dread and despair at its peak.

Even more terrifying than The Day After. There are so many raw and visceral scenes that are memorable for their savagery—the hospital and sheep scenes

Initially I thought it was any other horror film, then I read the description on Shudder, and I guess it's a documentary film… okay. And of course it ended up being the hardest film I've ever had to watch, even more than "Come and See." It literally feels like it's all real, and the sad part is that it may be a possibility in our future.

Kinda slow to get to the good stuff and then crazy time jumps take you out of it

None of these ratings justify how I feel, I didn't enjoy this film, it wasn't mid and it wasn't bad. It was a film that was horrific to watch but not one that I had any opinionated emotions toward. I do not recommend watching it, but I also won't say to not watch it.

I thought it would be more disturbing compared to other things from the reviews. It’s fucking bleak for sure. But not too graphic. It was very well made especially for being 40 years old. Hold up today a little too well. Like I said. Bleak.

Not the easiest film to watch but definitely an important movie for everyone to experience. Especially in the times we’re living in. 8/10

A dismal cautionary tale about nuclear war, also one of the most realistic depictions; it’s really impressive for being made-for-tv, even mentioning it’s made-for-tv sort of demeans it. Still relevant.
