Easily one of the best comfort movies I’ve ever seen. In my top 10 flicks all time. It’s so stupid, so predictable, yet every performance is perfect. I can’t get enough of this flick, even years later. 9.1/10

Watched this movie twice, first time wasn’t really watching if you know what i mean😏🫣🫡 HA HA. But watched the full thing with the fam and honestly just a classic rom com, great pillow talking/ something to throw on movie

Dark topics, but its funny and a feel good film. Great ensemble, love Jason Bateman in everything. He’s relatable, his emotional scenes got to me. Never seen Adam Driver like this before, while a cheater and a “family screwup” he’s caring to his family. Tina Fey is down to earth

Very good, cried at the end. Judd and Phillip are way too relatable in the worst ways but I still think it’s a great movie about dealing with grief, loss and whatever life throws at you in the best way you can. While also being funny and entertaining

This is such a catastrophically human movie, everyone is so genuinely shitty it hurts to watch.

I’m not normally a dramedy enthusiast but this one drew my attention due to the fantastic ensemble cast. The writing is well done and all of the acting was well performed. I recommend this movie as a very good way to spend an hour and 43 minutes. You won’t regret it.

It is filled with so much but it doesn't feel so dragged out. It's really touching and showcases so many unique situations that only fit in this context

I can’t even tell you how much this movie has changed me. like literally, they did a rly good job at portraying a sort of dysfunctional family and it’s just super relatable, sad, funny, and happy all at once !

Tina Fey cannot fake cry to save her life. Adam Driver as the sweetest, stupidest kid you’ve ever seen was refreshing, Jason Bateman has the best “I’m in love eyes” you’ve ever seen and that’s my new standard

It was comedic with the right level of awkwardness to make it really look like a family gathering. They don’t make movies simple like this anymore. Just the right length.

This movie didn’t rate well with critics and seemed to do better with audiences. I personally adored with movie and immediately went to buy the book. Would recommend and would watch again.

Rewatching it and actually paying attention to it, had me laughing and sobbing in between. I enjoyed this movie
