This family is deeply in denial about what aunt diane did, honestly the documentary did not help change the public image for her, she was probably secretly struggling and had no one to talk to about it unfortunately it led to a great loss.

Tragic but an interesting doc

While we are never told in this doc what is wrong with Diane, we learn how in denial people can be. It’s hard to admit our loved ones have flaws. I think there’s much more to this story that wasn’t told. However, I’d still recommend this as a fascinating watch.

I have seen a LOT about this documentary online recently.

I was expecting a lot more.

Her family is simply in denial which is a shame and this documentary does absolutely nothing to change opinions on what happened.

My theory is similar to one posed in the show. She was going to be stressed packing up the camp and knowing she was driving that many (probably upset) kids home. She had a smoke to relax her. When she couldn’t get pain meds when she stopped for gas, she turned to the vodka to help with the pain and didn’t realise how much she had drank.

I am very confused about all the hype I have seen about this on Facebook because while it is tragic, absolutely nothing new comes out about what happened and it seems pretty open and close.

I hope her family can find closure

Family is in denial. No one will ever know 100% why everything happened but they just need to work on accepting shes gone now and so are the kids. Ppl will judge. Its sad, even Jay said no one in her family knew that she smoked maybe same thing w dianes drinking/smoking

Relatively interesting. Sad. But, overall an unsatisfying ending.

I only watched 20 minutes max it was so awful to see and all the children💔

A very tragic story and I really feel for everyone involved.

That being said though, this documentary doesn’t really add anything to the story that wasn’t already known. So that kind of just makes me feel like this is HBO exploiting a tragedy for financial gain, since they didn’t really add anything or help these people in any way.

The family is in extreme denial. It's pretty possible she had a mix of tooth pain with alcohol and I feel horrible for all the other people that died due to this. The documentary could have been shorter tbh.

Maybe I’m a sick freak but I was hoping this would be more fucked up than it was LMAO I feel awful for this family & I hate that they never got answers but I feel like this just said “hey look here’s something tragic that happened & we dk why:/ thx 4 watching <3” WHAT’S THE POINT
