Wish I could rate it higher cause it’s clear it was made by a passionate team on a minuscule budget but it just never hooked me. The idea was alright but then the potentially great scares get derailed by goofy ahh smile vfx. Characters were okay but I won’t remember them longterm

Love how genuinely paranoid the entire movie is. From the start, you start to notice little things that just keep getting more and more egregious with how off they are. I will admit, some people might find some of the jumpscare effects a little goofy, but I don’t think so.

Genuinely scared me

I will start with saying this a pretty normal film, not a super horror that will not make you sleep, but a pretty one that will make you jump a lot of times. I quite enjoy it!!

I like the concept, I actually watched this entire movie because of how interested in it I was.

That doesn’t make up for the mediocre dialogue, poor acting, and probably the worst camera work i’ve ever seen — I shit you not one of the scenes had 50+ cuts within a minute while they are just watching TV. It was like I was watching an episode of The Office on cocaine and they face zoom entirely too much.

Mostly every scene consists of about 10-15 cuts within seconds of each other which may not sound bad but once you’ve seen it you’ll understand.

The monsters were alright — more intriguing than scary and mostly every scare in the movie was a jump scare with no real scares

This may be the first movie I’m disliking that I could potentially see myself watching again but only after I let my eyes take a vacation from all the camera cuts.
