I’m really not sure what just happened but I was very distracted by the fact that Thelma looks so much like if Hayley Williams and Ethel Cain had a love child

I don’t think anything could’ve prepared me for the macabre of this film. I loved the writing and the direction went somewhere I didn’t expect. It felt slightly derivative of stranger things. An interesting watch, I was captivated constantly. I love the ending, it wasn’t expected
