What the hell was that? You can tell that the x files don't fit into today's world. the entire charm of the series has disappeared. and scully and mulder sleep in the same bed and still call each other by their last names.

I waited 9 seasons and a movie for mulder and scully to finally be together. Just isn’t an x files movie anymore

Mulder has a lumberjack beard now and is hiding in his house cutting out newspaper and Scully is doctor at hospital and is mad at him all the time.

FBI is like "hey remember aliens? We have a case about missing lady" and they call them because no one else wants it.

There is creepy psychic priest who is also a bad BAD guy but says he has visions and he leads FBI to chopped up body parts in snow.

Scully is busy trying to save a sick kid with a brain disease and doesn't have time for aliens.

Mulder is running around in the snow with other the FBI person looking for secret lab where the russian guys are stealing body parts to make Frankensteins monster sort of thing.

They find second missing lady still alive stuck in box and they save her because psychic pedo priest actually helped this time.

Mulder does eventually shave lumberjack beard and looks better.

Might not have been the best X-files work but can’t give my Mulder & Scully less than 5 stars 🥰✨

The X-Files: I Want to Believe drops the alien conspiracies for a dark crime thriller. While it lacks the show’s signature mystery, the moody atmosphere and Mulder & Scully’s dynamic keep it engaging. Not the classic X-Files, but still entertaining.

Seems like this movie was written and at the last second someone said “hey, let’s put Mulder and Scully in it and call it The X-Files.” Zero impact on the canon of the legacy. A big wasted opportunity.

I hated this movie quite a lot.

It was nice to see them back but it didn’t do much and wasn’t a great plot or villain or anything. We are informing that 2012 is the alien invasion and they aren’t prepping or anything.

It was alright I kind of wish it was about a alien they were hunting down.

But the music in the credits were pretty good.

Not what I was expecting. While Fight the Future was a perfect companion piece to the series, this movie probably should have been left on the small screen. It’s not bad, but it’s not what you’d expect from a movie dedicated to Mulder and Scully.
